Cinnamon Sally Backpackers Hostel is one of the leading hostels in Europe with a current rating of 9.2 on Booking.com and 9.3 on Hostelworld.com.

The company qualifies as a "Social Backpackers Hostel" where the guests are mostly travelers from Western countries.

We offer a passionate work team, a multinational and dynamic work environment and the opportunity to combine the position of assistant manager with another job. We are a German family business looking for a talented assistant to the current hostel manager. As an assistant manager, our company can prepare you for work as a hostel manager starting in spring 2024.

Main tasks:

• Supervision, management and training of employees;

• Purchase of goods for daily operation of the hostel;

• Create an annual budget in cooperation with the owner;

• Expenses - revenue control;

• Team building and maintaining hostel standards, 
maintaining and securing the market position of the leading hostel;

• Compilation of the necessary legal documents;

• Become the soul of our hostel;

• Be a good example to our employees;

• Ensure a smooth and successful work process.

What we expect:

• At least 3 years of experience in the accommodation industry;

• At least 2 years of experience in the accommodation industry - as a manager;

• Understanding of the "Social backpacker Hostel" concept;

• Excellent economic knowledge and experience in budget management;

• Ability to analyze and solve complex tasks;

• A candidate who sees his future in Latvia;

• Diplomatic, approachable and confident personality;

• Additional knowledge of German and/or Spanish will be
an advantage.
